About the Photographer
I have been a photographer for more than 40 years specializing in nature and scenic photography.Many of the photographs displayed here are from the California coast. I traveled up and down the Northern coast with my dawgs and my 15 foot trailer. I have always been drawn to the beauty of the ocean and sunsets.
I worked as an Ophthalmic Photographer for 20 years until I became disabled from a workplace injury. I'm trying to earn a little extra money so that I can keep myself and my dawgs in our home.
About the Photos
I use a Canon 40 D camera with a Tamron 28-300 mm lens. This creates high-resolution images. However, the photographs below are low resolution so that they cannot be downloaded and enlarged without permission. Photos that you purchase will be made from the original high-resolution images.Buying Fine-Art Prints
Many of my best images are the result of very careful planning and hard work. I put the same effort into my fine-art prints. I want you to be proud to display my prints. I want my prints to take you into the wilderness.
Once the digital file matches my vision, it is sent to a professional printer who prepares a true developed photographic – not printers' ink – print. When it returns to me, if I find the quality lacking, I reject the print and the printing process starts over. If I am proud of the print, I sign it if you wish by pressing my signature into the front, and prepare it for shipping to you. The result is a lasting, archival-quality print you can be proud to display for a lifetime. Some of the images will be cropped slightly to fit the paper size. They will be carefully wrapped and boxed for transit.
